Thank you for your follow up after a few months to check back with me. The mere fact that a company makes a true effort to get feedback from its customers on the performance of its product says a lot. So many products out there for the trucking industry claiming to improve MPG are nothing but modern day snake oil. I doubt any of them are so persistent to get customer feedback and direct all of their efforts into getting more orders.
Since we last spoke not a whole lot has changed. I am still getting between 6 mpg 6.5 mpg on weekly calculations. If you remember from my last letter we changed our route and freight immediately after installing the air cell. With such a drastic change in the variables that effect fuel mileage (weight, terrain, distance, and idling) it was virtually impossible to determine the air cells exact impact if any. All things considered I felt the air cell did help since we started driving more mountains, almost doubled our payload weight, dramatically increased our idling time and only dropped .2 - .5 mpg from our previous overall average.
I wasnt trying to tell you what you wanted to hear, or offering a consolation prize. In my opinion the air cell has and IS helping our fuel consumption. I cannot imagine getting 6 mpg or better with our current driving conditions without it. If you need to mark me down into any category for an overall survey, please include me with happy and increased MPG after install. If I had to guess I would say we should have dropped our MPG to 5.5 5.7 mpg after the changes to our routes. Thank you again for the follow up. I really do appreciate it.
4 mpg gain on average in all our Crown Victorias... they are working well
and saving us money every day!
